Am interessantesten finde ich momentan, dass das Landesgesundheitsamt auf seiner Homepage als Rechtfertigung zur Aufrechterhaltung der ganzen Grundrechtseinschränkungen die knappen Intensivkapazitäten aufführt – bei uns sind auf Grund von Pflegekräftemangel aktuell (und das schon seit Wochen / Monaten) 20-30% (!) der prinzipiell betreibbaren Betten gesperrt. Das ist im Übrigen ein Dauerthema, triagieren eigentlich eher die Regel als die Ausnahme, im Winter spitzt sich alles meistens zu. Von einem (Darüber hinaus seit Jahren bekannten) Fachkräftemangel als einer der Hauptursachen der knappen Kapazitäten, habe ich während der ganzen ‚Krise‘ aber in den Medien allenfalls sporadisch gelesen.

Deliberate shortage of beds in hospitals ???

What I find most interesting at the moment is that the state health office lists the scarce intensive care capacities on its homepage as a justification for maintaining all the restrictions on basic rights – in our case, 20-30% (!) of the beds that can be operated in principle are currently blocked due to a shortage of nursing staff (and this has been the case for weeks / months). By the way, this is an ongoing issue, triaging is actually more the rule than the exception, in winter everything usually comes to a head. However, during the entire ‚crisis‘, I have only sporadically read in the media about a shortage of specialists (which has been known for years) as one of the main causes of the scarce capacities.
